At the RMIT class „public art project“ I created sticky statements. At the beginning of my semester abroad in Melbourne I was exploring the city and especially the university campus. After analysing how important these signs were for me and also for other people, I came up with the idea of „sticky statements“. I created for each faculty provoking statements and put it on their signs.
After putting the stickers on the boards I started to observe whether people see the stickers and their reaction are. Naturally people create a frame and narrow their view on their environment. It is like a filter where “redundant” information get ignored to work faster.
